Step 1: adding the project to the list of open projects
- Open and edit the page CCU:Projects.
- Append your project to the list of open projects (using the same format). Make sure to give it a unique and somewhat self-explanatory name.
- Note: I suggest getting used to the "edit source" functionality instead of the rich text editor, as this makes it easier to see what exactly you are doing.
- Save your changes, the new project should appear in red (because the page does not yet exist).
Step 2: editing project information
- Click on the red link of your new project to start editing the new page.
- (optional): Open the template project in another window and copy the content.
- Edit your project page using the guidance and suggestions given in the template project.
- You can come back and make changes as often as you like.
Step 3: (optional)
- Once you are satisfied, e-mail a link to your project to PIs/students who might be interested and could contribute.
